Call Me Chicken is a take-away restaurant located in Washington, DC. An authentic southern homemade experience is provided to customers by a southern chef in the kitchen.

To reflect the brand's southern heritage, the color palette was chosen to bring out the colors of soul food seasonings. The brand also needed an 80s aesthetic, without relying on cliches and delivering a fresh, visual perspective. Since the name itself is a reference to 'Back to the Future', the identity was conceived to include other famous references from the decade.

Given that the restaurant operates on a take-away format, it only has one opportunity to make a good first impression with customers. Therefore, both packaging and web assets were designed to provide a fun and delightful communication style.
